About Me

Thank you so much for taking the time to look at my web site. I know you probably have a lot of details to handle for the event you are planning and I hope to be of service to you.

I’m Gayle Duff, and I have been a floral designer for 36 years.  I began working in the floral industry immediately after high school and from the first day in the business, I knew I had found my calling!  The first flower shop I worked at was South End Florist in White Center where I spent 10 years learning the business.  I then opened Riverton Florist and spent 6 years with my husband running our business. We closed Riverton and I went to work for Hanson’s Florist in Georgetown. For the last 11 years, I have worked as the floral manager at South End Florist.  As much as I have loved working for South End, the owner, Bill Shinbo, has decided to retire and South End Florist is closed.

I now have the wonderful opportunity to provide a much needed personal touch to the floral industry. I truly love this business and feel blessed to have been a part of it for so long. I am most comfortable working with a client that comes to me with both a vision and an open mind to new ideas. I think every wedding, event or party is as special as each individual. If you are looking for an FTD "cookie-cutter" arrangement, check out ftd.com. If you want an arrangement designed especially for you please contact me and lets work together to make your event special!

Again, thank you for your time.  I hope you will call or email me and let me be your personal florist.
